Texas Tribute to Randy Travis Announces Additional Guest Artists

Texas-country legend Rosie Flores, Waylon Payne, Jolie Holliday, and Sonny Burgess complete the lineup for "A Texas Heroes & Friends Tribute to Randy Travis."  

Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 7 p.m., Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prairie will host the tribute show.  

The previously announced all-star lineup includes Clay Walker, Cody Jinks, Joe Nichols, Neal McCoy, War Hippies, Braxton Keith, Jacob Tolliver, 

Whey Jennings, Casey Chesnutt, and Garrett Miles, as well as emerging country music stars. On Randy Travis' most memorable songs, his original touring band will accompany these artists. 

After learning about the Cowboy lifestyle from his father in rural North Carolina, Randy Travis has loved Texas since childhood. 

Having started in country music, he always had a unique connection with Texas listeners and lived in New Mexico in the 1990s. I 

Randy and his wife, Mary, relocated to a ranch in Dallas-Fort Worth in the 2010s and have been deeply involved with Texas, its culture, and its music ever since. 

The Country Music Hall of Fame member's recuperation from his 2013 stroke has been helped by Texas' vibrant music culture.
