Overnight Oats Inspired by Banana Cream Pie

In a medium bowl, mash one banana with a fork until there are no large lumps. Combine oats, milk, ¼ cup yogurt, vanilla, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk for 30 seconds. 

Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, until the oats have absorbed the liquid and the mixture is thick. 

Divide the remaining banana into ½-inch-thick slices and evenly put them over the yogurt in the jars.
