Fruit frozen custard 

Ingredients:

– 2 cups whole milk – 1 cup heavy cream – 3/4 cup granulated sugar

– 4 large egg yolk – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 2 cups of your favorite fruits 

Instructions:

Heat 2 cups of whole milk and 1 cup of heavy cream in a saucepan until warm. 

Instructions:

Whisk 4 large egg yolks with 3/4 cup of sugar until pale and thickened. 

Instructions:

Slowly pour warm milk mixture into egg yolks, whisking constantly. 

Instructions:

Return mixture to saucepan and cook until thickened, about 5-7 minutes. 

Instructions:

Remove from heat, stir in 1 tsp vanilla extract, and cool completely. 

Instructions:

Puree or mash 2 cups of your favorite fruits and fold into cooled custard. 

Instructions:

Transfer mixture to ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. 

Instructions:

Alternatively, pour into shallow dish and freeze, stirring every 30 minutes. 

Instructions:

1. Once creamy, scoop into bowls or cones. 2. Garnish with fresh fruit slices or mint leaves and enjoy your fruit frozen custard!
