Aaron Rodgers Pinpoints Two Free Agents He Hopes Jets Re-Sign

Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the New York Jets, had a guest visit on Cameron Hanes  

Keep Hammering Collective podcast this week, where he addressed his NFL career and aspirations for the coming season.  

Among the things discussed, Rodgers mentioned a pair of Jets free agents who he hopes the team can re-sign during the offseason.  

With numerous senior players likely leaving New York, Rodgers has stated that he hopes to keep punter Thomas Morstead and kicker Greg Zuerlein.  

Morstead, who turns 38 on Thursday, had a tremendous debut season with the Jets in 2023, and Rodgers emphasized the significance of re-signing him to keep their special teams edge.  

Greg Zuerlein, our kicker, had a fantastic year. I believe he missed only two kicks all year  

. He's merely a weapon, and he can strike it from wherever. He can hit it from 60 yards. We count every kick as a touchback. "  

"Those are weapons, so I would definitely like to see those guys return," he added.
